Working across media, which encompass painting, drawing, site specific installations, and photography, Helene Koch explores what often goes by unnoticed. Through places and through time. Whether it is the detail of a space or the fraction of a moment that describes the margins of our lives.
Helene Koch has participated in a number of group exhibitions internationally, latest with a solo and duo exhibition in South Korea. Her work has been exhibited in Seoul, Los Angeles, Miami, London, Vilnius and Copenhagen.
She has been an external examiner and guest critic at the Royal Danish Academy, Copenhagen, DK, Lund University, School of Architecture, SE, Korea University, Architecture Department, KR and invited by Princeton University Imagination Center, to lead a bootcamp/workshop for students and faculty at Princeton University SoA, US.
Helene Koch was born 1979, in Copenhagen, Denmark. She holds a Master in Architecture from the Royal Danish Academy. After years abroad, she has recently moved back to Denmark and currently lives and works in Copenhagen.
