Haze in White; a relatively normal summer day on the beach becomes peculiar, as bathing scenarios are encapsulated in white haze due to a bush fire 16 km away. People turn into abstract figures in the haze.
Haze in White is the first part of a photo trilogy depicting scenes from the southern part of NSW in Australia, at the time when bushfires and smoke haze encapsulates the state. The pictures are shot within a time span of nine days, from 23.12 - 31.12.2019 on three locations along the coast, with a change in atmosphere during the 9 days.
